Purpose of ADsShip
The purpose of ADsShip is to help businesses and agencies run online advertising for many brands from one place. ADsShip lets a user connect a Google Ads manager account, create a dedicated Google Ads account for each brand, and create and manage advertising campaigns for those brands. ADsShip can also connect Meta Business Manager so each brand can have its own Meta ad account.
ADsShip provides these functions:
- Connect Google Ads and Meta manager accounts with OAuth
- Create brand records in a workspace
- Provision a dedicated ad account for each brand
- Plan and launch advertising campaigns for each brand
- Keep spend, billing, and reporting isolated per brand
How ADsShip uses Google user data
ADsShip requests Google authorization so it can use the Google Ads API for the Google account that the user connects. ADsShip uses Google user data only to operate the ADsShip application, including to:
- List Google Ads accounts under the connected manager account
- Create child Google Ads accounts for brands in ADsShip
- Create and update campaigns, ad groups, ads, and budgets
- Read account and campaign performance data shown in ADsShip
